Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Nodrya. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Nodrya is owned and operated by Dispatch Dataworks LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States. In these terms, "Nodrya", "the operator", "we", and "us" all refer to Dispatch Dataworks LLC. Dispatch Dataworks LLC is the party you contract with, the party that receives payment for paid plans, and the party responsible for operating the service.

1. The service

Nodrya is a web-based personal knowledge service with rich and Markdown editing, organization tools, imports, attachments, sharing and collaboration, Email to Note, offline/PWA capabilities, archiving, optional browser-side note encryption, and account security features. Features, limits, interfaces, and availability may change as the service evolves.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nodrya. If applicable law requires you to be older to enter into these terms without a parent or guardian, you may use the service only if those requirements are satisfied.

3. Your account

You are responsible for protecting your password, MFA credentials, encryption passphrases, personal Email to Note address, share links, and access to devices or browsers you mark as trusted. You must provide an email address you are authorized to use and keep your account information reasonably current.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of notes, attachments, and other content you submit. You give Nodrya the limited permission needed to host, store, transmit, process, synchronize, and display that content as necessary to operate and maintain the service for you and for people with whom you choose to share it.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload, email, store, or share your content and that your use of the service complies with applicable law and the rights of others.

5. Encryption and recovery

When you choose note encryption, protected content is encrypted and decrypted in your browser. Nodrya does not receive the encryption passphrase and does not maintain server-side passphrase recovery.

If you lose an encryption passphrase, the encrypted content cannot be recovered by Nodrya. Resetting your account password does not reset or recover note-encryption passphrases.

6. Sharing and collaboration

You control whether to share content through a read-only link or directly with another Nodrya account. Anyone who obtains a complete active read-only link may be able to access the shared content, so you are responsible for distributing and revoking links appropriately. Expiration, revocation, passphrases, and other controls reduce risk but do not prevent a recipient from copying information they were authorized to view.

Account collaboration may allow another user to edit shared content according to the permission you assign. Advisory edit locking reduces simultaneous edits but does not guarantee that every conflict or unintended change can be prevented. You remain responsible for reviewing permissions and maintaining independent copies of important content.

7. Email to Note

If you enable Email to Note, messages delivered to your personal note address may create content in your account according to your sender rules and mailbox defaults. Keep the address reasonably private and configure allowed senders appropriately. Nodrya may reject messages for security, rate-limit, size, duplicate, sender-policy, or technical reasons. Email attachments are not currently imported through this feature.

8. Offline use and synchronization

The PWA may keep cached data and unsynchronized changes on your device. Offline changes are not backed up to Nodrya until synchronization succeeds. Clearing browser data, losing the device, uninstalling the PWA, or other local-storage loss before synchronization can permanently remove pending changes.

9. Imports and attachments

You may import supported Markdown archives and attachments. You are responsible for reviewing imported content and maintaining independent copies of important source material. Imports and attachments may be limited by file size, storage quota, server resources, proxy limits, or other technical constraints.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use Nodrya for unlawful activity, to violate the rights of others, to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, to interfere with the operation of the service, to evade service limits, to abuse inbound email or sharing features, or to misuse service features in a way that creates unreasonable operational or security risk.

11. Service availability and changes

The service may experience interruptions, defects, feature changes, or downtime. Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed. Nodrya does not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available indefinitely. Features described as planned or coming later are not commitments to a particular release date or final implementation.

12. Pricing

Nodrya offers Free and Paid plans. The standard Paid plan costs $7 USD per month or $70 USD per year when billed annually. Eligible customers may purchase a limited founders offer for $50 USD per year. Its $50 renewal rate continues while that subscription remains continuously active; cancellation, failed renewal, or lapse ends the grandfathered rate. Plan-specific Node, attachment, rate, and AI usage allowances apply; Paid AI usage is generous but not unlimited. Applicable prices, billing periods, limits, and material conditions are presented before you are charged and may change with advance notice where required.

Card payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of Dispatch Dataworks LLC. Dispatch Dataworks LLC is the merchant of record. Charges appear on your statement as NODRYA. Subscription management, payment method updates, and cancellation are handled through the billing portal linked from your account settings.

13. Your backups

Nodrya should not be your only copy of important information. Maintain independent backups of content whose loss would cause significant harm, especially before deleting your account, performing large imports, relying on unsynchronized offline notes, collaborating on important content, or using encrypted notes for critical information.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nodrya or delete your account at any time through the available account controls. Access may be suspended or terminated when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, legal obligations, future payment obligations, or material violations of these terms.

15. Service disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nodrya is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The service does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, successful synchronization, delivery of every inbound message, or preservation of every item of data. Rights that cannot legally be waived are not affected.

16. Responsibility for losses

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use Nodrya, including losses caused by unavailable service, deleted data, failed imports, unsynchronized offline changes, sharing or collaboration activity, rejected inbound email, or forgotten encryption passphrases. This section does not limit responsibility where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

17. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The revision date above will be updated when new terms are published. Material changes may also be communicated within the service when appropriate. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
